multicolored text in word 2007

Robin

I just got a new computer at work and it has word 2007. All of the text is
multicolored. I have tried to reset text color to black, it will not change
to black or any other color for that matter. Can anyone tell me how to change
this so I can get to where I can type in black or change it to another color
when needed. Thank you.

Click on the Home tab. Locate the Font group. There, in the
lower/right corner of that group, you'll see an arrow. Click it to
open the font dialog box. (Or just use the old shortcut and hit Alt +
O, F).

Set the color to black and be sure to click the DEFAULT button in the
lower/left.
