Hey ppl,
Not sure if this is the correct ng, but...

I'm looking for information on setting up a multi-boot system. I don't
mean a dual boot. I mean a multi-boot with as many os's, of (nearly)
any flavour, as I like.
It needs to be done so any of the os's can be removed/reinstalled
without affecting others. The main problem I see at the moment is an
XP re-installation overwiting the boot loader. Can XP have it's boot
loader put on a different disk somehow? It doesn't seem possible to
hide drives from xp during installation. I was thinking of making a
small primary partition just for booting, and install GNU GRUB there.
This would handle loading all the os's.

So, anyone know where to look for this info?

Thanks,
Dave.

Either have the other OS on seperate hds,or partition youre drive
one for each OS.XP can only install itself on one, when installing xp,
install by booting to xp cd,not in explorer.
