would only load correctly on the original user and not

If you are installing on Windows 2000, Windows XP, or
Windows Server 2003, you must install with administrator
privileges.

Can you give administrator privileges, to the other 4
users????

This Beta 1 version works only under an Administrator account.

Is your original user an administrator and the others are not? Are you using
fast user switching?
Why these questions? Because in its current release MSAS works properly on
administrative user accounts only. And it is a process running in the user
mode, not a system service, so fast user switching starts another
instance/instances of the same MSAS application - and this may cause
problems.
