Multi-line drop down

Guest

Hello,

I need to know if there's a way to create a multiple row drop down field. The users of the template/form I'm designing need to be able to select an address from a drop-down menu. The address needs two lines, for example

1234 South 2nd Stree
St Louis, MI 4566

I know I could make two separate drop downs, but I really can't count on the people typing to know which address corresponds with which city

Thanks

Vel

Thanks for the suggestion. It seems to address what I need, except when I follow the instructions and then reprotect my form the field is not changeable. It did give me the benefit of being able to let the user of the form begin to type a city name and get all of the information filled in by pressing 'enter' but I would like to still have the functionality of a drop down box or the autotext field as it exists in an unprotected document

Hi, Vel

There really isn't a multiline dropdown in the sense you mean, but you ca
use an AutoTextList field to show one-line names that cause two-line insert
to appear. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/AutoTextList.htm fo
instructions

Does this occur in such a way that you can isolate it in a separate section
and leave that section unprotected?
