I just set up a stripped array and i have questions about licenses.

If i use an activation on the xp home disk to put a system on the array,
will i be able to access the office on the original drive? I just installed
a motherboard so htere was a reactivation of the office software, and i doubt
that i can transfer it to a new disk, but i woul like to operaate from the
array, especially for photoshop.

thanks

Dan

A new board may cause activation problems as would new drives, but if youve
activated xp many times,in the activation window, simply select the "phone
activation" option. Its just an inconvience, but if the rest of the computer
is useing
same hardware, its no problem to activate...

If I understand correctly;
Office was installed on the none system disk
You created a stripped array for the system disk
In order to create a striped array sys disk you have to Format / install
win, you therefore have a new installation of win that knows nothing about
Office on the other hd.
You will have to reinstall Office and any other apps that were on the none
sys disk (You can custom install to the none sys disk)
