Multi Axis Pivot Chart

Angela

Is it possible to chart 2 items with different axis on a Pivot Chart? I want
an Average Time line plot (value axis on Left) and a Count of Inspections bar
plot (value axis on Right).

I have the information in a Pivot Chart and all items charted but when I add
a Series Group with the Avg Time and add another Series Group with the Count
of Inspections, adding a Value Axis on the left it usually changes both Value
Axis to the same value. Also as I change the Dates or other specifics it
seems like the data points lose what Value Axis they are connected to.

This can easily be done in Excel but I can't find any information on how to
do it in Access.

the other option that you have with pivotTables is this:

a) insert, ActiveX control
b) Office PivotTable

using that control you have a lot more flexibility, in my opinion

I love Office Web Components, by far the best product that MS ever
came out with

I'm not so sure that anything is officially depecrated.

OWC is still-- _TODAY_ being shipped in a half dozen BRAND NEW
Microsoft products.

Thanks

until those dipshits come out with something with half the
functionality of OWC, I'll definitely still continue using it.

I know of two large companies in Seattle with
_SEVENTY_THOUSAND_OWC_REPORTS_.

And neither one of them is MS or owned by MS.

so stfu and go and play elsewhere, thanks

maybe MS relaxes 'Excel Services' licensing in this version of
SharePoint.. I just don't think that product has a future.

Analysis Services makes the world go around, dog!

to a new technology as soon as possible...."

You can check the KB for details on when support has ended, or will end, for
each version of OWC.

there is no replacement for OWC

OWC is better and more powerful than http://spreadsheets.google.com
and it outrages me that Microsoft doesn't support their customers..
and provide a migration path to _SOMETHING_.

I'll never ever trust Microsoft for Business Intelligence software
ever again.

the things that it can do with Olap make my heart sing

access can't report on Olap.. but Crystal Reports has been providing
this option for the past 15 years???

IT IS NOT FULLY DEPECRATED, IT IS STILL SHIPPING IN MANY MANY MANY
BRAND NEW MICROSOFT PRODUCTS--

Until Microsoft comes up with something that has half the
functionality of OWC, then I'll continue using it for adhoc reports to
say the least.

Reporting Services for canned reports.

Oh, where does that leave crybaby access reports??
