I have to keep track of many people's appointments. Right now I am doing
that by color coding. I have to keep track of my wife's, I take care of my
mom so I have her doctor's appts as well as when she is to have her meds, I
have a child I take care of and all her things she has going on, and I have 2
businesses. A computer repair biz as well as voice over work for radio. So
as you can see I need to be able to keep on top of many things. I read
something about creating a different calendars for each person, however, I
have to put this on my smart phone as well. Will all the calendars go on the
smart phone? Is there a better way to do this?
Thanks

The calendars will go on your smart phone only if your sync software knows
how to handle multiple calendars. ActiveSync can't.
http://www.chapura.com/ sells a product that will sync multiple calendars.

I use Vista Ultimate and Windows Mobile Device. That is how I sync the
phone. So how do I do multiple calenders?

With Windows Mobile Device Center, you don't. You need a third-party sync
tool, as I already said.

Sorry Brian, I didn't see that before. So many people who post, have links to
their websites as well as other things, and when I saw that I just assumed it
was a link to your personal site.
Thanks for your help.

Brian,
I checked out their site and everything looked really good until I read
this.... this is at the very bottom of their post on their software....

†NOTE: Because smartphones running the Windows Mobile Smartphone edition of
the OS include the ability to use categories only in Pocket Outlook Contacts
(and not Calendar or Tasks), PocketMirror Professional for Windows Mobile can
create and synchronize Outlook with folder-like categories only in Pocket
Outlook Contacts (not Calendar or Tasks).

So from what I get by reading this, they will do multi contacts like
friends, and BCM and all that , but not multiple calendars or tasks which is
what I need. But thanks any way. Looks like the way I am doing it now is
the best way to make sure I get all the information in my smart phone.
