multi-apced usernames

I am wondering if anyone has had experience with usernames
that have more than one space in them causing remote login
issues. Our usernames sometimes contain 2 spaces in them,
eg. Mary Ellen Jones. Windows 2000 domain w/ Exchange 5.5
and OWA.

greetings,
as you have discovered, problems can arise from usernames
with spaces in them. It is NOT a good practice. I would
suggest that you re-do the accounts(unless there's a
million of them)utilizing usernames with no spaces.
Otherwise, you'll have to live with the problems they
create.

This is the first company I've worked at where they use
usernames like this. Typically it's last name, first
initial or something like that. I've passed you advice on
to my System Admin team, it's up to them to make the call.
