The entries can certainly be deleted, but there's no need to hit the
registry to do so. There must be thousands of third party programs that will
do this for you.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache is what I was referring
to. I was searching for registry entries for a program I uninstalled and found it in this
location. I wanted to delete the entry, but also wondered if I could delete the other entries.
