MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security updates 925672 and KB927978

Hi,
I have Windows XP running on my laptop. The two security updates 925672 and
KB927978 don't seem to be able to install properly on my computer. I get a
notification in the taskbar that these two updates are ready to be installed,
I tell the computer to install them, then everything seems to go OK. But a
minute or so after the update is completed, I get another message on the
taskbar that the same two updates are ready to be installed. If I look back
in my update history, I see that I have in fact installed these two updates
almost every day. What is going wrong?
