msvcrt.dll

The version number of the msvcrt.dll does not match the
mod number of the msvcrt.dll so causing explorer and
other apps to crash. Any help please
 
Try this: Go to the command prompt (Start, Run, type CMD
and say OK) then type (without quotes) "SFC /scannow".
This is the system file checker. Have your installation
disc handy, it'll ask for it . . . good luck
