MSVC32I MFC Application Problem

Running XP Home. On the startup pf IE the message MSVC32i
MFC Application Problem appears. IE is then shut down and
I can't access IE. I tried downloading and instaling a new
version if IE 6 but the problem persits. Any suggestions?

Make sure your virus definition table is up to date.

Check for parasites.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
