msvbvm60.dll was not found?

MS AntiSpyware will not launch. I get the following error message:

GIANTAntiSpywareMain.exe - Unable to Locate Component

This application failed to start because MSVBVM60.DLL was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Any ideas?

The question is whether the message can be taken literally or not.

Easy thing to try first: Start, control panel, add or remove programs,
Microsoft Antispyware, change, update.

Thank you, Bill. That seems to have worked. Can I ask what might have been
the issue if the error message was not literal?

I'm not sure.
(i.e. I'm not sure of the range of possible issues, or whether the message
was literally correct, and the update fixed it!)

Did you uninstall other software in the recent past? This can be a source
of loss of a "common" program.
