MSUpdater.exe

Norton Antivirus has started giving me a lot of virus
messages that I have the "Download.Trojan" virus in
MSUpdater.exe. It can't repare it or quarinteen it.

Where can I get a fresh version of MSUpdater.exe?

I'm on Windows XP and have the install CD. Should I be
able to find this executable on that CD?

You do not want msupdater.exe. It is a virus/torjan. Run a anti-virus scan
with updated virus definitions and run these tools to rid yourself of the
spyware and homepage hijacker:
spybot -- http://www.safer-networking.org/
ad-aware -- http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
