MSSvc.exe Error msg

Description:
The MSSvc DataService service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 5
time(s).

I need help with this problem, when I bootup my laptop I get an error msg
that reports MSSvc.exe has encountered a critical error. I have tried to stop
this service using the services applet and when I do this the laptop hangs
for several hrs. I also tried stopping ths service in the task mgr. and it
also hangs the laptop up for several hrs. I looked out on the microsoft
knowledgebase and there are no articles that have been posted about this
problem this time. Also I report the problem everytime that the error occurs.
I get a microsoft malware screen that tells me that my laptop has been
infected with a virus (MSBlast). So I download the malware removal tool and
remove all of the infected files and it reports back that the laptop is
clean.And is not infected with the MSBlast malware. But when I reboot the
laptop I still get the MSSvc.exe error.

This isn't a Microsoft problem.

mssvc.exe is a process associated with the StealthDisk application used for
hiding and encrypting files and folders. This program is a non-essential
system process.

Do you really need this?

If not, uninstall it.

I would uninstall the POS just because the site had popups. #$%#$%
