I'm trying to burn a DVD using PS-3. I have the Sonic DVD player plug-in and
have used it successfully several times. However with this particular
Photo-Story when I go to "Save your story to a DVD for playback on a DVD
player" and click on next the program goes through step-1 and step-2 OK, but
stalls right at the end of step-3 (building the video in a temporary file).
I've tried shutting down all other running programs without success.

Maybe your project is too large or too complex.

There is a 300 image limit but when adding lots
of effects, motion, transitions and music that number
can decrease dramatically.

Also you may need more RAM or a larger paging file.

And it may be worthwhile to do some routine
maintenance:

Running Disk Cleanup, Error Checking and
Defrag on a regular schedule is a good idea.

(check the two boxes..."Automatically fix file
system errors" and "Scan for and attempt
recovery of bad sectors") the utility will run
the next time you restart your computer.
(run error checking repeatedly until it finds
no errors)
