Error Message everytime

I would really appreciate any help for this problem. I have created my story
using PS3 successfully, but I can't get it to burn to a DVD. I have
purchased the Sonice PS3 DVD plug-in. When I get to the last option page,
and choose Burn DVD, it generates my story, and then another option page
comes up and i choose "Continue Burning DVD" I have never gotten past that.
I have never gotten to the Sonic option page (I saw this on PapaJohn's
website). When I click on the final option this is what comes up:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error
Runtime Error!
Program: C\Program Files\Photo Story 3 for Windows\PhotoStory2.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

I am not a computer whiz in anyway...just a mom that was suppose to create
the "team movie" and have not done it!!!!!!!! Please any help would be
appreciated.

Just a couple of questions...

You posted...."Program: C\Program Files\
Photo Story 3 for Windows\PhotoStory2.exe"

Does it say "PhotoStory2.exe" or
"PhotoStory3.exe"?

I know this is a dumb question...but do you
have a DVD burner and are you using a
Blank DVD?

And...if you have a DVD burner...have you
tried burning the DVD with the software that
came with the DVD burner?

My typo.. it does say photsostory3.exe

Yes, I have a DVD burner and I am using a blank DVD
I am not sure what software came with the DVD burner, it just came with my
computer.

Now I am feeling like a true idiot... my husband told me we did have a
burner, but now I am questioning myself. I went to my computer and this is
what the drivers said...
Samsung DVD-ROM SD-612

DVD-ROM is a reader not a burner.

A burner would say something like:
CD/DVDW
On the front of the drive it might say:
DVD R / RW ReWritable

If you have a CD-RW you could create
a VCD. This would be a Video Disk
burned on a CD-R. Many DVD players...
will play a VCD.
