mspmspv.exe IRC trojan

I am running Windows XP home and Norton internet security with all updates.
Today Norton identified mspmspv.exe as a IRC Trojan.

Norton could not repair nor remove it but I was able to quarantine the file.
Upon doing a google search I could not pin it down other than some reference
to mspmspv.exe as having something to do with Windows media player. Also
the new Microsoft anti-virus found nothing as well as Adaware or Spybot.

Has anyone else encountered this file and is it something to be concerned
about?

As it is in quarantine you should not worry, apparantly is is a Trojan
