MSPaint

I have a windows 2000 machine that is really slow.I went
into task manager and found that MSpaint is killing the
PC. I went into attributes and changed to default this
did not help. Whenever you launch MSpaint it slows the
machine. Any help would be appreciated.

Try deleting Paint's reg entries at

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Applets\Paint

Then reboot to see if this fixes the problem.

You might also consider using some other paint program (there are
several very good free paint programs such as
http://www.simtel.net/pub/pd/64469.html ImageForge or Pixia).
