MSPaint Initial Settings -- Changing

Hello.

Not sure if this forum is where this should go, but I'm hoping someone in
here will be able to answer this question...

.... essentially I'd like to change the default settings in Paint [or
PaintBrush... I'm not sure what it's technically called... I run it by going
to Start >> Run >> and running 'mspaint' ...].

The main thing I'd like to do is make it so the default setting is not to
have the image centered Horizontally and Vertically. And, if possible, the
margins, but the centering is really what I'd like to change.

Is this something I'd have to change in the registry, and if so, does anyone
know the reg settings to change offhand?

Any help would be great.
thank you.

Hi Matt
Can I ask what you actually do with Paint.
Changing the registry seems a bit extreme to me and shouldn't be attempted
unless you know exactly what you are doing.

If you do know a way to modify the settings, and want to make sure I'm not a
soccer mom who heard the words 'reg setting' for the first time ever last
night, I'd be happy to explain why this is necessary for me.

If you don't know a way to do what I need, I'd rather not type it out... I
am disabled and so typing is very painful and difficult for me. I'm looking
for the answer to my question because it will cut down on some repetitive
keystrokes I have to do each time I print something from Paint. And although
I am very, very aware that everyone out there has their favorite apps, and
that Paint is not a prized application by folks who, well, aren't me -- it
does what I need the best.

If you know the answer, let me know, and I'll be happy to tell you what you
need, and I will be grateful for the help.

Hi Matt
Sorry to hear that you are disabled.
I was only trying to help. I hope someone will come along with a solution to
your problem.
Can I suggest that you don't flame people like that, it will be less painful
for you.

Bill --

I'm sorry you took that as a flame... I'm not quite sure how that is the
case... my explaining that I didn't want to go into my use of an application
I need some assistance with unless you needed that to give me a solution is
not a flame.

I assume you either know the answer to my question or you don't; I asked a
specific question that I need a specific answer for, and maybe this is only
in the photos discussion group, but I'm not used to seeing anyone essentially
voir dire someone asking for a specific piece of information to see if they
are, I don't know, worthy enough to get a response?

I still don't know whether or you do know the answer to my question.

If you don't, I'm not sure why you posted -- my question was not about my
use of the app, or any other app, or whether some people should tell others
not to use parts of the operating system. It didn't get me any closer to
knowing what I need to know [probably farther, now that someone who quickly
reads your post will think that 'Oh, one of those disabled people who think
they should have the world handed to them flamed the guy... I'm not helping
him, uh-uh'].

If you do know the answer, but just won't give it because it'd be more fun
to belittle me for wanting to know if you can help me or not -- that is
typically the reason people post a reply, well, at least in the places I
normally post in.

So, if you do have the answer, why not help me? If you need me to apologize
for whatever I said that you consider a flame, please point out the offending
phrases so I can apologize specifically for whatever I did when I was in need
of assistance. If you need that to feel that I'm worthy enough to get
assistance from you, I will.

If you don't know how to answer my question, I guess thanks for making it
just that much harder for me to get an answer.... disabled guy needs help,
ehh, belittle him -- go team.

Do you or do you not know the answer? From your first post it sounded like
you do. If you do, please post it, or just let me know you're not going to
because, well, you can.

If you don't, I'm not sure why you've been posting like this... you're not
helping by posting over and over without the answer to my question. And no,
that's not a flame, that's just me being I guess in some people's eyes,
silly, because all I ever wanted was the specific answer to my question,
which does not seem to be and important thing here.

I don't know what I ever did to you to warrant all this... and taking what
is anything but a flame / rude email and saying it was to belittle me. [I
reread it and couldn't believe anyone would think that was rude... no one
else here does... but, whatever].

If you have the answer and are big enough to give it to me, great. If you
haven't and won't, well, hey, your prerogative and style.

If you don't have the answer, why'd you ask that and post all this anyway?
To ensure I couldn't get the answer? To disrupt users of MSPaint from their
ability to get information to help them?

Seriously, sorry for whatever terrible thing I did to you that was enough
for you to pick on someone who's terminal with pain and belittle him --
fantastic.
