MSOutlook Trusting MSword?

B

Bobby Brown

I like to use word as my editor in the Outlook program, after recent updates
I get a message when I try to forward a message from Microsoft Office
Outlook that says "a program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have
stored in Outlook". I found this in the MS TecNet that said "You cannot
prevent this caution from appearing." Than goes on to say "This message is
not displayed when Outlook interacts with trusted synchronization software"

Now my question is, "How do I get Outlook to trust MS Word?" Am I miss
reading something into the problem, or it just can't be done. bobby

Outlook trusts Word; that's not your problem. You're problem is that you are
using an add-in in Word that Outlook doesn't trust. A lot of add-ins have
been updated so the warning message doesn't show up anymore.

You are right, I do have an add-in in word, it is Adobe Professional. I did
check their website and didn't find any updates. Is there a way to tell
outlook or tell some program that I don't care if it does use my address
book: I would think I could tell outlook to trust this program and put in
the name of the program.

No, but you can remove the add-in. See
