MSoutlook 2000 to windows.vista.mail

Although MS Office 2000 loaded into Vista, and msoutlook set & receives mail
and the address folders can be accessed, whenever I try to export the
addresses, the system cannot use "The WAB DLL" (the wab32.dll file?) The
only MS support database dated 2004 does nor mention vista (not
surprisingly) any anything mentioned seems to make no dofference. Other
programs elsewhere that (might be/are) accessing the WAB file give similar
error responses. Anyone come accross this?

Outlook 2000 is not compatible with Vista
The wab file is the Windows Address Book which has long since been
superceeded & is not used in later versions of Outllook
If you still have a functioning older system either port your mail &
addresses to Outlook Express, then port this store to Mail on Vista
Or export your addresses to a csv file, that Mail can import

Outlook versions older than 2003 are not compatible with Vista.

To avoid problems with Vista, delete wab32.dll and wab32res.dll
from the \Windows\System32 directory.
