Outlook 2000 can't open wab

I'm running Windows XP Home SP2 and I recently ran an repair installation.
Everything is working fine except Microsoft Outlook 2000. When I try to send
an e-mail or to open the address book, I receive this error "An error
occurred while attemping to open the windows address book. Unable to find wab
dll". I running Windows explorer 6 (build
6.0.2900.2180.exsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519).

If I put in my account details into outlook express 6, it will send and
receive e-mail. Outlook 2000 will receive e-mail but can't send. I tried
article 196210 from the microsoft support page but when I run a search for
wab32.dll, the search retuns more than one wab32.dll (c:/cabs/net17.cab;
c:/cabs/win98_58.cab; c:/program files/common files/system;
c:/windows/servicepackfiles/i386;
c:/windows/softwaredistribution/download/16b2c96a0c41f4dfdb4d3cc228a4f819).

I can't work out which file I should rename or how to restall outlook
express. Your help is very much appreciate on this.
