MSN won't quit trying to be my start page.

I do check in to MSN.com occasionally but I prefer to have "about:blank" as
my starting page. However, very frequently msn suddenly takes over, or
tries to. It never happens when I first bring up IE6, but it does almost
any time when I might be on some other site. I have a program in the
computer "WinPatrol" that warns when it's about to try.

I haven't been able to find the cause. Would appreciate any suggestions on
how to eliminate this annoyance, but still leaving msn in there for when I
want it to come up..

Hi
Its a cookie, I have/had the same problem
You need to adjust your security level to let you know when sites send you
them and you have the choice to accept them or deny them
Hope that helps
