MSN Messenger6/WinXP/WinME

My brother in England, who adamantly refuses to upgrade to XP, and I, have
used WinMessenger/Net Meeting with various degrees of success. Recently we
changed to MSN Messenger 6. This seems to work very well to another XP
machine for me, but will not allow my brother and I to communicate. When we
try to use Video Conference, he gets a message saying this is only available
on XP machines. I get a message saying his machine is not capable.
He says he downloaded the WinME version. What is the situation here? I have
been reading that this version works on all Win systems. We do not even seem
to be able to hook up on Net Meeting any longer.

Hi Jonathan,

We have tried this, thank you, and sometimes get video, but never audio.
Both systems give good a/v checks.
