MSN Messenger

Please help. I have just updated to MSN Messenger 7.5 and it wont start up. I
get a message saying Error 1183006 or something. When I troubleshoot it says
Gateway may be offline. I havent a clue what this means. It told me to check
my forewall but that seems ok. Any ideas please?
 
i have the EXACT same problem...plus my mom can't sign into her outlook
express..well she can get in but it doesn't download her new e-mails...how do
i fix this problem?????
 
MSN Messenger IS NOT Windows Messenger.
