msn messenger won't sign in/says not connected to internet.

I posted a previous message and Jonathan Kay replied. He
told me to click start,then run, and enter the following.
regsvr32 softpub.d11. I did that and the computer said
that file could not be found. Now what? Please help

I still have no cure for getting into msn messenger. I
still get the message WE WERE UNABLE TO SIGN YOU IN WITH
A 0X81000301 ERROR. ANY OTHER SUGGESTION. CHRIS
