MSN Messenger V7 and sending files

Ever since I upgraded my MSN Messenger to V7.0.0777, I have noted an inability
to receive executable files sent by MSN Messenger. The sender gets an immediate
"Sending of 'Filename.exe' has failed", and I get "OtherPerson tried to send you
a file (Filename.exe). This file has been blocked because it is potentially
unsafe.".

Has anybody else experienced this irritation? Any way around it?

To fix this, download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/extfix.reg

You'll need to restart Messenger to see the change.
