MSN Messenger (mike not working)

Msn Messenger work fine until I uses the mike. I cannot
be heard on the other end.
Mikes checks out with the tests.
OS Windows XP Pro
Msn version 6.?
Using Norton Firewall:
Three Msn Messeners show up in the firewall with the
following titles:
Auto-Multiple
Auto-multiple
Permit All-General
Is ther something in this configuration that would stop me
from being heard with the mike at the other end?
