MSN Messenger Hi-Jack....

Hey... Im trying to fix my friends computer ... they had a message com over
msn that sent them to a website (imdownloads.com or somthing) and it launched
an virus program which has totally messed up her computer... One of the
effects is it kills the MS anti-spyware installation ... is there a way to
get MS anti-spyware to install in safe mode? or .. ? I'm at a complete
loss... there isn't any processes running and it kills services.msc and
regedit 1 second after they launch...

You can try and run HiJackThis. Last I checked MSAS will install in safe
mode. But I have not done so for a while.
