Msn Messenger freezes during sign in

Hey there everyone,

Lately I have been having problems with msn messenger.
Whenever I try to logon, I can't. I enter my email and my
password and it appears to begin the sign in process, but
then after about 2 seconds, the messenger freezes. I have
also been having some problems with my Internet explorer,
we recently were "infected" with loads of spyware from
wabu and other companies, could that have anything to do
with it?
 
Could be, get Ad Aware and run that, it should clear up the Pop UPs and your
computer should start working better.
