Hi all,
Hope someone can help me with this problem. Each time I
click on the desktop icon or the one in the lower bar it
goes to set up assist page. When I go through the set up
each time it shows the autoupdater is not on. When I
change to daily and a time and click on it excepts. Then I
go to Spyware scan settings and click on Display the
results window... General..Below are some general
setting...click on Include tech info and again save.
Go to Manage Schedule and click on daily, everyday and a
time. Check on Run deep scan and remove auto checked do
not display result. Click on update results (it also
changes back to Do Not Display Results and removes the
check mark in Run Deep Scan) go back to Scan summary page.
When I go back to the manage schedule all the setting have
changed back to the default. It will not run a schedule
scan. When I close and open it again, I have to go through
the set up again from the start. If I click on the cancel
it loads the program and the schedule and all the other
settings are missing.
Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing seems
to work. Each time I open it I have to reset it up.
I have had the program on my system since February 12th
and had worked fine until the last update. Now I can't get
it to set up properly and run with out updating each time
manually and the schedule scan does not run.
I am running XP Home edition with all the update including
SP2. Other software packages Norton Internet Security,
McAffee Spyware, AVG and Adware.
Ssorry this is so long but wanted to be thorough. Can
anyone help me out?
