msn 6 Ports??

Can anybody tell me what ports msn 6 uses for the
different actions. webcam, gamse and video conferancing.

My friend and I can get webcam to work, but not the video
conferancing. Anybody knows the ports for conf?

Greetings Lasse,

Port 9000 and 80 (it tries both) can be used for the Webcam, as well, it can also send your
'cam' to a central server if a direct connection can't be established. Games use port 80.

Video Conferencing uses ports 5004 through 65535 UDP and makes use of Universal Plug and Play
(UPnP). If you're behind a NAT router, the router will need to support UPnP in order for
video conferencing to work correctly. A number of router manufacturers now support UPnP, you
may just need a firmware update to upgrade it. If this is the case, let us know the brand
name and model and we can check UPnP compatibility for you.

I got an upnp router, but my friend is behind a netscreen 5 and I have no
clue about that one. I thought the webcam and video conf both used upnp and
that's why I asked. It must be that simple that the netscreen is not upnp
aware.
