I have some sort of error message, that comes on after I
click on Outlook Express for my e-mail. It reads: The
instructions at 0x68899a56 referenced memory at
0x1990424. The memory could not be "read". Click "Off"
to terminate the program. What the heck is this talking
about? How do I get rid of it popping up every time I
turn my computer on?

With a basic program like OE this indicates that there is hardware
trouble, so it is either looking at the wrong place or cannot read the
memory it finds there. EIther way it is probably trouble with the
machines RAM memory and you should get it tested. A program you can use
is memtest - www.memtest86.com It runs from a bootable floppy which
will be made when you run its installation. Boot that before going to
bed and let it run overnight
