When I log off this error pops up on the screen, How do I
fix this? Thanks for any help.

I downloaded the Disable/Remove Windows Messenger
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_mess_disable.htm and
removed Windows messenger. I rebooted and there was no
msmsgs.exe error.
