mshtml fault

This error recurs frequently and causes ie and the computer to crash.
Here is what windows error reporting says about it:
4/16/2004 6:29 PM Application Error Faulting application iexplore.exe,
version 6.0.2800.1106, faulting module mshtml.dll, version
6.0.2800.1400, fault address 0x001eadea.

Geoff,
This is probably being caused by third party programs- malware/parasites.

Download and run Run CWShredder from
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Then download, install, *update* and run both of these programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items listed in red-others are
optional.)
Both programs should be updated after installation- before use.
