Hello Henri
Thank you for the clues, most of the help I can find for
this error relates to IE5.5 not IE6.
My MSHTML.DLL properties>version says 6.0.2800.1264
NOT 6.0.2800.1106
Anyway, I have re-installed IE6 and the original fault
has gone. Now, after a power up I am getting the second
half of the Install Wizard telling me that the install
needs to be completed, but then it says I already have
the latest updates and should Exit.
GREAT!
Long live Netscape / Opera / etc.

Patrick
