MSHTML.DLL error

nikki

My problem is that I cannot view any webpages that have
been saved to my computer. I can still save pages but
cannot view new or old ones. When I try to do anything
(open, rename, delete, even highlight the icon, you name
it) I receive an Explorer error - MSHTML.DLL Help
please. I don't know why this is. I don't know how to
fix this. Thank you.

If you continue to experience problems, try restarting
your computer."

1. IE Help>About>Update Versions> Is Q828750 listed here? What is?

2. Do you have Yahoo Companion or Google Toolbar installed?

3. Copy/paste the following into another IE Address window, click GO, and
then copy/paste the results into your reply:

javascript:navigator.appMinorVersion

Then if neither Yahoo Companion (can install automatically with Yahoo
Messenger!) or Google Toolbar is installed, hijackware is the most likely
culprit:

These days most of us are recommending HijackThis to identify and assist in
the removal of these bad guys. **Post your files to the forum mentioned on

If you cannot access the page to download HijackThis, use this link:

If you find you need CoolWebSearch Shredder, use this link:

(Get a fresh copy of CWS Shredder before each use. It's updated
frequently.)

Update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From now on,
do both daily.Dealing with Hijackware
