Mshtml.dll error in explorer

whenever i try to open a .html .htm, etc.. file in explorer i recieve a mshtml.dll error, this is becoming a very annoting trate of windows, i was wondering if it is just that particular .dll (mshtml.dll) file that is causing this error.

i would appreicate any help
