Msg stuck in Outlook Outbox

I have a 30MB message stuck in Outlook Outbox and I cant
get rid of it. I can't delete it or do anything with it
it seems. Outlook claims to have already started sending
the message. The fact that this message is in the outbox
meens that Outlook is constantly attempting to
send/receive. What can I do to get rid of it?

Try file, work offline. Wait a few minutes then delete it. if it fails,
File, New, Outlook data file and create a new pst. Then Tools, Accounts and
set the new pst as the default delivery location. Close outlook, reopen.
Delete the file from the old outlook. go back to tools, accounts and set the
old pst as the default and restart outlook.
