I removed and reloaded MSFT office 2000 Professional as I am having problem opening MSFT Outlook
When I click , the hour glass stays on for a long period and MSFT Outlook won't open. It was working fine and the
last month this problem came up suddenly. I am receiving my emails from Outlook Express. My O/S is win9
I would like to use MSFT Outlook as I can use a filter junk software InBoxer. Anyone comment as to what is the caus
of MSFT Outlook not opening. Thanks

try renaming or deleting the file named outcmd.dat (this file tracks
menu/toolbar modifications and gets corrupted. when it does, outlook 2000
hangs at the splash screen.)

if the above doesn't get it, does outlook start in safe mode? (start | run
| outlook.exe /safe | ok button)
