MSDTC - Transaction infrastructure failed

I just started charting this but it appears that at least once a day the
application event log gets several records about MSDTC or MS DTC if you
perfer. The Help and Support Center isn't able to assist. I think the first
error always says that "the initialization of the tracing infrastructure
failed." Event ID 4404. This is usually by several other MSDTC errors with
ID's of 4163, 4185, 4112, 4407 and 4691. I haven't followed this long enough
to know if those are the usual codes or not. Anyway, if anyone out there has
any idea what these things are, how serious and a fix for them, I would
appreciate any information. Thanks.
