Hi group,
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I have a problem with a VB.NET
console application. Multiple instances of the app are run, and
sometimes I get the following error (from the application log);
The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( .NET Runtime ) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry
information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote
computer. The following information is part of the event: .NET Runtime
version 1.1.4322.2032- .NET Framework Initialization Error:
C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded.
The DOTNET framework 1.1 is definitely installed, and this error only
occurs occasionally. Is there a limit to the number of DOTNET apps that
can be run simultaneously?
OS is Win2K server sp4
app is written in VB.NET on VS2003
TIA
Barry
