MSCONFIG

mary

Hi, I'm trying to install software on my laptop (Windows
2000) and received the following error: 1607 unable to
install InstallShield scripting runtime.

The software help pages directed me to click on START >
RUN > MSCONFIG.

I then received the error: Cannot find MSCONFIG.

Anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Thanks!

Msconfig.exe is a tool that shipped with Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows
XP, but not Windows 2000. However, you can copy Msconfig.exe from a Windows
XP machine to your Windows 2000 machine and it should work fine.
