msconfig.exe is missing.

Hello,

I loaded Windows XP Pro on my compter last night. When i
try to get into the start by entering msconfig.exe. I got
an error "msconfig.exe" is missing or its corrupted. I ran
a search and msconfig.exe was not found.

How can i extract msconfig file from the Windows XP cd?

I doubt it's missing or corrupt, although that is a remote
possibility. If you didn't immediately activate the XP firewall and
install AV software before getting on the net, chances are you have a
virus or spyware which is disabling msconfig.exe.

That file should be in:

c:\windows\pchealth\helpctr\binaries
