msconfig and ctrl alt dlt screens will not pop up

Please help me here, since I'm helpless to close certain
programs if I can't get the control alt delete screen to
stay up. If I hit the keys, it pops up for a second and
immediately disappears, and the same goes for when I try
to run msconfig - it pops up and immediately disappears
before I can touch it. If you know what the problem is and
can offer any help please send me an email.

do you have any popup blockers active when trying to

open msconfig? if so try to disable them

It's caused by viruses. Run a full system virus scan.
