microsoft visual c++ runtime library
program\windows\system32\mscidaemon.exe
this application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.

Dont know how to solve this one. Please can someone help. Im running XP pro.

cheers

Sophos virus analysis: W32/Kwbot-H - ... When first executed the worm will
copy itself to the Windows System folder as MSCIDAEMON.COM and MSCIDAEMON.EXE
or SVCHOST64.EXE. ...
mscidaemon is not a WindowsXP nor a System32 file - it is a VIRUS.
Run your anti-virus program for a complete scan of your harddrive to get rid
of
it. Do not try to Restore for that will save the virus and reinstall it
when you
reboot. Turn Restore off, scan for the virus, delete it and reboot.
After reboot, and system is clean, activate Restore, and create a new
Restore point.

thanks for that. i'll give it a go.
