MSBlaster Worm Removal Problems

I have run the removal tool several times and followed
instructions regarding system restore etc. The tool says
that it has removed the worm. However, when trying to run
the security patch, it fails on each occassion. I have
tried loading it in safe mode and also from the windows
update web page. The only message I get refers to sending
Microsoft a failure message.

Can anyone help??

Do a search on your C:\ drive for msblast and delete it permanently.
