Try this:

1) File, check for updªte
2) Help, abºut

Reboot
1) Help, abºut

What version number now shºws?
Let us know how it works ºut.

As do I.

Hold off, and do another manual update in a few hours, or a day. This is
not an issue on your machine, but in the distribution mechanisms, I believe.
We see it with some frequency, typically early in the distribution cycle.

Today, my automatic updater ran at 10 AM EST. My diagnostics file said I
had 5787 but the version was 140/142. I ran updater, and it indicated it
was (again) updating from 5785, but now to 5789. Diagnostics showed version
140/142 and 5789. I ran updater again and now all diagnostics seem correct:
142/142, 5789. Did not need to reboot. Seems MS must have corrected 5787
glitch with 5789.

Thanks, Microsoft. Diagnostic showed 142/142 after automatic updater runs
this afternoon. Patience is a virtue.
