MSAS is a spyware type prog itself

Being able to set MSAS to load at boot up is fine.

Setting it to NOT load up at startup and still having it
do so = SPYWARE itself

You said it right gnxfan
 
It's a beta. This is one of the quirks of the beta.

Are you not able to read the two different workarounds for this behavior
offered in the thread?
